1. Goal

Every single web pages and posts on your website need to have a goal. Well, not always, but would be better for more conversion. How to have a goal for your web design, you ask.

Well, ask yourself these questions:

  1. Do you want to offer some information (tips, “how to” use, steps, etc) about a particular topic or product or services in your industry?
  2. Do you want to entertain your readers with insightful ideas and thoughts and help make their lives better?
  3. Do you want to foster user interaction to make your website engaging and interesting?
  4. Or, do you simply want to conduct a business transaction – i.e. sell products or services? Each page of your website needs to have a clear purpose and to fulfill a specific need for your website users in the most effective way possible.

Remember, not all of your web pages have to have a goal, though. But having ‘clear’ goals for most of your web pages/posts will definitely boost website engagement and conversion ratio.
