I know you that you are looking to learn how to make money with articles, but the good news is that you do not need any previous work related experience and that you can actually learn it as you go writing.

Yes, that’s true!

Well, of course, there are few skills that you will need to learn yourself or pick up as you continue this path to make your website successful.

That means you cannot simply plunge in without knowing anything, or not learning anything, yet still expecting to make a good income (or #make $100 a day for example)

First of all, you will have to select correct articles to make your site make money or be successful in general.

And there are various types of content – from free to high dollar content – and each comes with it own advantages and disadvantages (though high dollar content is more likely to make your website successful in the long run).

Second, you will also need to learn #how to select keywords that will help your website drive a good amount of traffic, without being too competitive to get on the first or even second page.

If you choose highly competitive keywords – keywords that are used by well-established big sites – you are never going to achieve that most desired first or second page ranking.

Third, you will also need to learn how to optimize your site for various search engines. These basic search engine optimization skills will let you achieve high rankings for chosen niche keywords, which will in turn help drive visitors and make profit from them.

Fourth, if you decide to create a large and complex website for your internet marketing career, you will also learn how to market (promote) your website to your ‘targeted’ audience through either paid ads or text links.

On the other hand, if you opt for a very small website (2-5 page niche sites), then promoting all this way may not be cost-effective for you and will eat up more of your profits that it is worth.

However, if you can learn few of these skills and learn to attack the aggressively during your first few small websites or even your first few months of a larger website, then you will eventually become skillful at doing this.

Since you will be learning all these skills on your own, the only thing that is left to do before you begin your internet marketing career is to perhaps purchase an IM e-book and read it. Also, make sure you have enough funds available to start your small business website.
